A look at some of my detailed and modified ready to run Locomotives and Wagons.

37503 with a front end modification done by Nigel Crow, detailing and weathering by myself. The protoype 37503 is still in traffic but for how much longer?

73128 in EW&S livery, I have fitted working headlights and illuminated headcode blinds to this loco which show yellow or red depending on the direction of travel.

A Bachmann 37 respray this time as 37890 in Trainload Freight two tone grey with 'Mainline' freight branding. Note the bodyside scars where the cast double arrow and depot plaques used to be and also the scars where the nameplate 'The Railway Observer' has been removed.

Another Bachmann class 37 re-numbering job, this time 37416 Sir Robert McAlpine/Concrete Bob. A major feature of this locomotive is the 'ripped' Highland Stag logo under the cab window on No:1 end only which has been faithfully reproduced on my model.

Here is a Bachmann 08 which I have renumbered to represent 08561 currently allocated to Crewe Electric Depot and often seen working through Crewe station. This faded rail blue loco with the BR double arrow logo removed carries sports battery boxes on both sides painted in EWS maroon complete with small EWS logo.

This wagon is a 'HO' scale bulk powder/cereals wagon from Jouef which was produced in several continental liveries as well as undecorated. They are still reasonably common on secondhand stalls at exhibitions and swapmeets. This one was sprayed into Polybulk Traffic Services livery with transfers applied it was then weathered, graffiti available from Signs of the Times applied and then weathered again over the transfers using my airbrush.

My latest EWS livery 37 has been renumbered and detailed as 37411 'The Scottish Railway Preservation Society'. This loco runs on two fabricated bogies, carries black headcode boxes at both ends, 3 piece snowploughs and a small Transrail logo next to the number on one side only. This locomotive has also been fitted with working tail lights from Express Models. My thanks to Mick Ratledge (AKA Rugby Town) for supplying information and detailed photos for this project.
