Intermodal Containers

Arguably the best R-T-R wagon ever released is the Intermodal twin from Bachmann, initially released with two 45 foot containers later versions were available with two 20 foot containers. To add even more variety Bachmann released a twin pack of two 45 foot containers and several packs of different liveried 20 foot containers. New kid on the block C-Rail-Intermodal have recently released a transfer pack made by Microscale Decal Products of the USA which contains waterslide transfers for the Bachmann 20' containers. Liveries are EVERGREEN, GENSTAR, Hapag-Lloyd, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, OOCL and tex. The correct shades of paint to compliment the transfers are available. Watch out for further transfer releases in the near future featuring MSC 20' & 40' and Malcolm, GTS and Adaptainer suitable for the Bachmann 45' intermodal containers.

Below is a small example of my container collection including some re-liveried using the C-Rail transfers and Phoenix paints. More pictures will be added in due course.

20' Containers

This Hamburg Sud 20' Container was a standard Bachmann release. This container has been weathered and patch painted to represent minor repairs to the bodyside.

This is a Bachmann 20' container which I have resprayed into OOCL livery using the correct shade of paint from Phoenix. C-Rail transfers have been used to complete the livery.

This China Shipping container is a standard Bachmann release. This container has been weathered and patch painted to represent minor repairs to the bodyside.

This is a Bachmann 20' container which I have resprayed into Hapag-Lloyd livery using the correct shade of paint from Phoenix. C-Rail transfers have been used to complete the livery.

This P&O container is a standard Bachmann release. This container has been weathered and patch painted in two differentshades of blue to represent minor repairs to the bodyside.

This is a Bachmann 20' container which I have resprayed into Mitsui OSK Lines livery using aluminium colour paint and then weathering has been applied.  C-Rail transfers have been used to complete the livery.
 

This is a Bachmann 20' container which I have resprayed into EVERGREEN livery using the correct shade of paint from Phoenix. C-Rail transfers have been used to complete the livery.

This is a Bachmann 20' container which I have resprayed into GENSTAR livery using the correct shade of paint from Phoenix. C-Rail transfers have been used to complete the livery.

This is a Bachmann 20' container which I have resprayed into tex livery using red oxide primer paint.  C-Rail transfers have been used to complete the livery.
