Suitable freight rolling stock is somewhat of a problem on Holland Park as no modern ready-to-run Freightliner wagons yet exist. This will soon change with the release of the Dapol FEA 'twin' wagon. This really is a key wagon for modellers of intermodal operations and is eagerly awaited for service on Holland Park. Genesis produce a nice KTA 'pocket' wagon kit, which can carry 40ft 'hi-cube' containers and several of these can be found in service on Holland Park. More mainstream wagons in Freightliner's fleet are the FSA/FTA outer/inner flats and the KFA single vehicle. Representations of these are running on Holland Park the solution to producing these is to butcher Bachmann 'multifrets' however, this is a wasteful excersise as two donors are required to produce a single FSA, FTA or KFA. Although not entirely accurate, the result looks reasonably convincing, especially when loaded with containers and for the time being will have to do. There is no problem modelling EWS intermodal trains as these can legitimately use the Bachmann FIA/IFA 'multifrets' and the Genesis FAA-A 'well' wagon kit. For DRS and GBRf workings the Bachmann 'mutifrets' are again used but these are of course unprototypical on these trains.
